Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued through 9 p.m. Sunday
On Sunday afternoon, the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of the KBSI viewing area.
Storm development has already been seen within southern Illinois, but this watch includes southeast Missouri, southern Illinois and western Kentucky until 9 p.m. Sunday.
Primary threats include scattered large hail, some exceeding 2″ at times, and up to 70 mph damaging wind gusts.
