Severe weather forces postponement of Charleston pageant

CHARLESTON, Mo., (KBSI) — The Dogwood-Azalea Pageant, originally set for Friday, has been postponed due to a heightened threat of severe weather, including tornadoes.

According to the Storm Prediction Center, parts of the Heartland are under a level 4 out of 5 tornado threat. Organizers are working to reschedule the pageant for either Sunday or Monday.

The Charleston Dogwood-Azalea Festival will proceed as planned from April 10-13. A detailed schedule of events is available online.
