Severe weather leaves behind damage in western Kentucky

(KBSI) – Many people are cleaning up after severe weather passed through western Kentucky.

Trees were blown over in Lyon County. The sheriff’s office says at one point, downed trees were blocking the road in 10 different areas.

Thanks to the work of state and county crews, it didn’t take very long before the intersections and roads were cleared.

The Graves County Sheriff’s Office says they responded to two traffic incidents that were the result of hydro planning.

The Sheriff’s office also says trees were reported to be down in the county as well.
