Shawnee Community College honors 15 nursing graduates

ULLIN, Ill., (KBSI) — Shawnee Community College recently recognized 15 associate degree nursing graduates during a pinning ceremony on its main campus.

Family members, friends, faculty and staff attended the ceremony, which celebrated the graduates’ completion of the nursing program and preparation for careers in health care.

The nursing pinning ceremony is a longstanding tradition symbolizing a student’s transition from nursing education into the profession.
