Shed catches fire in Murphysboro, no injuries reported

MURPHYSBORO, Ill., (KBSI)- A shed caught fire on Rover Street in Murphysboro around 3 p.m., Friday, March 29.

According to the Murphysboro Fire Department, it was reported there was a female inside the shed at the time of the fire.

Firefighters say the shed was unoccupied, and no one was found to be inside, with the fire being quickly contained.

The investigation is still ongoing as to the cause of the fire. No injuries have been reported.
