Sheriff warns of driveway repair scam targeting homeowners in McCracken County

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) – The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents about a driveway repair scam targeting homeowners.

Officials said scammers have been driving through neighborhoods offering unsolicited asphalt or driveway work, often approaching residents directly. Authorities said older homeowners appear to be the primary targets.

The sheriff’s office urged residents to report suspicious activity and provide descriptions of any individuals involved.

Anyone who believes they have been approached by a scammer is encouraged to contact local law enforcement.
