BOLLINGER COUNTY, Mo. (KBSI) – Bollinger County Sheriff Casey Graham warns residents of slick roads in the county Monday morning.
Numbered roadways improved throughout the night, but the roads are still slick in most places, according to Sheriff Graham.
Some areas appear to be clear but have patches of black ice.
Lettered roadways are covered and still very slick.
Those who must travel are asked to allow plenty of time and leave ample amount of space between their vehicle and the vehicle in front of them.
Sheriff Graham recommends packing blankets and emergency supplies in the event you slide off the roadway and become stranded.
Anyone in Bollinger County in need of immediate assistance or emergency supplies such as water, food, or medication but are unable to travel is asked to contact the Bollinger County Sheriff’s Office at (573) 238-2633.
Sheriff Graham says his deputies and him are available to provide assistance if needed.
