Sheriff’s office seeks public help locating three wanted individuals

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ill., (KBSI) — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office has released its latest notice and is asking the public for assistance in locating three individuals wanted on active warrants.

Authorities caution the public not to approach any of the subjects, as some may be considered armed or dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to contact local law enforcement or the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department at 618-438-4841. Tips may also be submitted through the “Submit a Tip” feature on the sheriff’s office mobile app.

All individuals are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

Justus J. Poole, 24, is wanted in Franklin County for illegal possession of ammunition without a valid FOID card. He was last known to live in the Benton area.

Ashlee W. Adams, 30, is wanted for theft. She was last known to live in the West Frankfort area.

Melissa K. Borders, 40, is wanted on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. She was also last known to reside in the West Frankfort area.
