Sheriff’s offices in Livingston, McCracken counties investigating numerous vehicle break-ins

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office and McCracken County Sheriff’s Office are working together to investigate after numerous reports of vehicle break-ins in the Ledbetter and Reidland communities.

The Ledbetter community experienced several car break-ins during the early morning of Thursday, June 1. Various items were removed from unlocked vehicles, according to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office.

Several pictures and videos of the suspects have been turned over to the sheriff’s office. Efforts are underway to identify the perpetrators.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office responded to multiple complaints in the Reidland community involving theft of items from unlocked vehicles on June 1.

The sheriff’s office released an image of one of the suspects that was caught on security footage hoping someone can help identify the person.

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office is also working alongside the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office who also received numerous reports of car break-ins in the Reidland Community.

The sheriff’s office requests and reminds citizens to lock and secure their unattended vehicles.
