SIKESTON, Mo., (KBSI) — A ShotSpotter alert helped Sikeston Department of Public Safety officers respond to a reported shooting and led to an arrest following a domestic-related incident.
Officers were dispatched around 8:30 p.m. March 19 to the 100 block of William Street after receiving a real-time alert of gunfire.
Investigators said the incident stemmed from a domestic assault in which a suspect allegedly assaulted a victim and took her 9mm handgun.
