Show Me Care Bags hosts It’s Fall Y’all vendor fair fundraiser

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – Show Me Care Bags hosted its Fall vendor and craft fair fundraiser at the Osage Centre on Saturday.

Visitors got to shop local vendors while also giving back to Show Me Care Bags, so this fair truly served a double purpose.

The organization delivers care bags to patients receiving cancer treatment at local hospitals, as well as those in St. Louis.

Show Me Care Bags Founder Jennifer Preston shared the most rewarding part of her work.

“You know the patients are receiving the care bags while they’re receiving chemotherapy, and they get to know that someone is thinking about them while they’re sitting in the chair on their journey,” she said.

This is the sixth year Show Me Care Bags has put on this vendor fair fundraiser.
