Sikeston Department of Public Safety celebrates National Police Women’s Day
SIKESTON, Mo. (KBSI) – The Sikeston Department of Public Safety celebrated National Police Women’s Day with two of their own.
National Police Women’s Day is September 12.
Detective Paula Nichols and Public Safety Officer Rachel Minor are happy to serve the Sikeston community.
They encourage other women to not shy away from a career in law enforcement.
“Be yourself, be honest, be true, jump in there and give it hell,” said Detective Paula Nichols with Sikeston DPS.
The day is meant to celebrate the brave women in law enforcement and all they do to serve their communities.
