Sikeston Department of Public Safety fights house fire

SIKESTON, Mo. (KBSI) – The Sikeston Department of Public Safety fought a fire at a home on Luther Street late Thursday night.

It happened in the 300 block of Luther.

Crews arrived on scene and begin to put out the fire, but due to the size and rapid growth of the fire, the home was severely impacted, according to Sikeston DPS.

Scott County Rural Fire Department and Morehouse Fire Department provided assistance.
