Sikeston DPS expresses gratitude to Jaycees for snowplow donation

SIKESTON, Mo., (KBSI) — The Sikeston Department of Public Safety (DPS) is expressing gratitude to the Sikeston Jaycees for their donation, which enabled the purchase of a snowplow.

The snowplow proved invaluable during the recent snow event, allowing DPS to focus on clearing its properties and ensuring emergency vehicles remained in service.

This, in turn, enabled the Public Works department to concentrate on clearing city streets without interruption.

DPS was also able to assist Public Works with their efforts once their facilities were cleared.

The DPS acknowledged the hard work and late hours put in by Public Works, praising their efforts.
