Sikeston DPS officers particpate in Torch Run for Special Olympics

SIKESTON, Mo. (KBSI) – The Sikeston Department of Public Safety and other local law enforcement took part in the annual Torch Run Wednesday morning in Sikeston.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run helps raise awareness and funds for the Special Olympics.

Each year, more than 100,000 law enforcement members carry the “Flame of Hope,” symbolizing courage and celebration of diversity uniting communities around the world.
