Sikeston man guilty of first-degree murder, kidnapping, armed criminal action

SIKESTON, Mo., (KBSI) — A jury has convicted a Sikeston man of murdering a 49-year-old woman in September 2023.
Fabayan Larry was found guilty Thursday of first-degree murder, second-degree kidnapping and armed criminal action in the death of Carolyn Hann.
The Scott County jury deliberated for nearly four hours before returning the verdict. Larry’s sentencing is set for March 6.
Hann’s body was found in her home in the 100 block of Broadway after Sikeston Department of Public Safety officers responded to a report of a missing person. An autopsy showed she died from stab wounds, blunt force trauma and suffocation.
Larry’s trial began Monday with jury selection.
