Sikeston under curfew due to the storms

SIKESTON, MO (KBSI) — City of Sikeston’s Mayor Greg Turnbow has issued a curfew in effect for the city limits of Sikeston. Times of this curfew are from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. and will be strictly enforced.

This does not apply to those who are involved in repairs, demolition, homeowners or property owners on their own property.

If you are traveling to or from work, or for a medical reason, you are considered exempt.

Sikeston DPS is currently on 12-hour shifts and will have plenty of personnel out to help the community and keep residents safe.
