CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Southeast Missouri State University is offering personalized virtual support sessions to help students, and their families navigate changes to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

The university’s financial aid experts will provide one-on-one guidance to ensure students complete the form correctly and access available funding for higher education.

The revised FAFSA form has been streamlined from 108 to 46 questions, making it faster to complete. University officials encourage families to take advantage of the simplified process and file the FAFSA by the Feb. 1 priority deadline to be considered for state-funded financial aid programs.

Virtual appointments are available through Jan. 31. Students can schedule a session at SEMO Supporting Students Seeking Cash For College
