Single-vehicle crash on U.S. 60 claims life of Salem man

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — Livingston County first responders were called to a single-vehicle crash Thursday morning in the 1900 block of U.S. Highway 60 East.

Authorities said the driver, George Woodall, 54, of Salem, Kentucky, was pronounced dead at the scene. Preliminary findings indicate Woodall suffered a fatal medical episode prior to the crash.

Deputy Brandon Vargas responded to the incident and was assisted by Salem Fire and Rescue, Livingston County EMS, and the Livingston County Coroner’s Office.

The investigation remains ongoing.
