Single-vehicle rollover injures Murray man in Wingo

WINGO, Ky., (KBSI) — The Graves County Sheriff’s Office responded Monday to a single-vehicle rollover crash on KY 339 West near Chandler Lane.
Deputies said the crash occurred at about 3 p.m. when Colby Hinson, 32, of Murray, was traveling east in a 2007 Acura sedan. Hinson failed to negotiate a curve, lost control of the vehicle and left the right side of the roadway. The vehicle struck a mailbox and a culvert before rolling onto its roof and coming to rest against a stop sign.
Hinson was able to exit the vehicle on his own. He was taken to Jackson Purchase Medical Center by Mayfield/Graves County EMS for injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Chief Deputy Jeremy Prince investigated the crash. He was assisted by Sgt. Ben Doran, Detective Jamie Clark, KSP Post 1 Dispatch, Mayfield Fire Department, Mayfield/Graves County EMS, Wingo Fire Department, nearby residents and the Graves County Road Department.
