Skate park activist memorialized by Cape Parks & Recreation

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Cape Girardeau Parks & Recreation Department will host a memorial dedication in honor of Christopher Lynn Hutson on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. at the Cape Noon Optimist Club Wheel Park.

The ceremony will feature speakers, a check presentation and the unveiling of a memorial plaque. Hutson was a key figure in the development of the skate park, which opened in 2019.
