Slow but sure warm up (10/18/22)
Another cool day is expected for Wednesday with early morning temperatures in the middle 20s and then highs in the middle 50s. Another cold start expected on Thursday, but then we warm up quite a bit after that! Highs will be in the upper 60s Thursday, middle and upper 70s Friday and Saturday, and eventually near 80 by Sunday. Nothing like having all four seasons in a few days time!
The cold start to the day for Wednesday means we’ll be about 20 degrees below average for the low. We warm up, but not very quickly. We’ll get back above freezing by 9am, near 50 by noon, and into the middle 50s by the middle of the afternoon.
Freeze warnings are in place to the east and to the south. However, much of the KBSI viewing area is not included. Why? Because we’ve already had a significant freeze, so our growing season is over. Everybody is going to be freezing Wednesday morning!
