Small oil spill closed one lane of traffic in Kentucky

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – Marshall County Interstate had some hazardous road conditions after an oil spill.
According to Marshall County Emergency Management a truck has spilled diesel fuel between Benton and Draffenville, at the 43-to-45-mile marker.
Roads were already wet from rain and the added fuel spill made the roadway very slick.
Palma Briensburg Fire Department has trucks deployed to slow people down and move them to the left lane while Ky Transportation employees are spreading salt to help with the spill.
The spill has been reported to be cleaned up and the roadway is now clear.
