Some schools dismiss early Monday with incoming winter weather

(KBSI) – A Winter Weather Advisory will go into effect late Monday morning until midnight Tuesday across southern Missouri and western Kentucky.
Several schools are dismissing classes early.
East Carter County School District – dismissing at 12:35 p.m.
Fist Baptist School in Poplar Bluff – dismissing at noon
Naylor R-1 will dismiss at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, February 12.
Naylor R-2 WILL dismiss at 12:30 today, February 12. The forecast is still showing snow and wintery mix this afternoon. This was a difficult decision. We have to be mindful of the safety of student drivers as well as buses. In the end, we would rather be safe than sorry. We apologize for any inconvenience.
All extra-curricular activities for this evening are canceled as well.
There will be NO EAGLES NEST TODAY!
