South Pemiscot schools to resume classes with adjustments after storm damage

PEMISCOT COUNTY, Mo., (KBSI) — South Pemiscot R-5 Schools said classes will resume Wednesday following storm damage, with some adjustments to daily operations.
District officials said Central Elementary’s campus will remain closed, and changes will be made to student drop-off and pickup procedures.
Students will be dropped off and picked up at the multipurpose building parking lot, with entry through the front of the building and students directed to the gym.
Officials said teachers and students should not park in that area.
School resource officers and staff will be on site to assist with traffic flow.
Drivers are asked to exit using Pattye Woody Drive or turn south when leaving the area.
Officials said events including Senior Night, and kindergarten graduation will proceed as scheduled.
The district thanked community members for their support and assistance following the storm.
