Southeast Missouri celebrates National Ice Cream Day

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Southeast Missouri residents can beat the summer heat Sunday by celebrating National Ice Cream Day at local shops and restaurants.

National Ice Cream Day is celebrated annually on the third Sunday of July. It was designated by President Ronald Reagan in 1984.
