Southeast Missouri Regional Science Fair returns to SEMO on March 4

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The 2025 Southeast Missouri Regional Science Fair will be held March 4 at the Show Me Center on the Southeast Missouri State University campus.

The fair, open to students in grades 6-12, features over 150 projects from 274 students.

Participating schools include those from Bollinger, Butler, Cape Girardeau, Dunklin, New Madrid, Pemiscot, Perry, Scott, Stoddard and Wayne counties.

Students will showcase research in scientific disciplines such as astronomy, biology, chemistry, engineering, environmental sciences, mathematics and physics.

The fair aims to promote critical thinking, hands-on learning and connections with experts from Southeast Missouri State University.

The fair is made possible through community partnerships, including support from Southeast Missouri State University, Drury Southwest Foundation, Ameren Missouri, Midamerica Hotels Corporation, Saint Francis Healthcare System, Cape Area Engineers Clubs, Innovative Orthodontics and Montgomery Bank.
