Southeast Missouri State University cuts ribbon on newly renovated Bookstore

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI)- A ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the newly remodeled on-campus Follett Southeast bookstore took place Thursday.

The public was invited to attend. Southeast Missouri State University President Dr. Carlos Vargas gave a small opening speech of gratitude.

“The merchandise that you find here, it’s really been an enhancement of the operations, and we look forward to continuing this relationship in the future,” said Vargas.

The new apparel shop will bring in a source of revenue for Southeast Missouri State University, having worked in partnership with Follett, an educational products, services, and technology group.

Chad Nales, the Regional Manager with Follett says, “We really do value our partnership with this university, and it’s a pleasure to do business with them every day.”
