Southeast Missouri State University partners with Saint Francis to offer allied health degree

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Southeast Missouri State University’s Bachelor of Applied Science in allied health is designed to help healthcare professionals advance their careers in as little as two years.
The program, created for working adults with technical associate degrees, allows graduates to build on their existing skills and transition into leadership roles, with access to higher earning potential in the medical imaging field.
“The program provides a seamless path for those with a two-year technical degree to earn a four-year degree,” said Dr. Brad Deken, chair of the Department of Engineering & Technology.
Developed in partnership with Saint Francis Healthcare System, the program emphasizes workforce readiness and reflects industry needs.
The curriculum covers specialties such as MRI technology, radiography and sonography, with options for partially or fully online coursework, making it accessible to allied health professionals nationwide.
Southeast Missouri State University also offers a nationwide tuition rate, eliminating out-of-state tuition fees.
