Southeast MO volleyball wins Game 1 against Evansville

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – SEMO women’s volleyball had its season opener Friday morning.

The first game began at 11 a.m. The second game is 7 p.m. Friday. The team plays Saturday at 3 p.m.

The Redhawks began the tournament at 11 a.m. against Evansville, the first of two matches on Friday. The Redhawks won with a 3-0 sweep, 26-24, 26-24, 25-23.

Friday night will feature a matchup with the Central Michigan Chippewas with first serve slated for 7 p.m.

SEMO will round out the tournament against regional rival Southern Illinois on Saturday afternoon when they take on the Salukis at 3 p.m.
