Southern Illinois University hosts 45th Annual Holiday Craft Sale

CARBONDALE, Ill. (KBSI) – On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Southern Illinois University hosted its 45th Annual Holiday Craft Sale.

Some 80 vendors filled the Student Center, showcasing a variety of items including holiday decor, paintings, ceramics, and much more.

Vendor Sue Benner of Makanda had some of her paintings, handmade ornaments, and more on display. She described what makes this particular fair so special.

“The atmosphere is great. There are a lot of students. There are a lot of people from a lot of different countries. You get to meet so many nice people, and you hear all kinds of stories,” she said. “I do other festivals in the area, and this is one of my favorites to do.”
