Spaghetti Day at the A.C. Brase Arena

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI)- Spaghetti Day at the A.C. Brase Arena in Cape Girardeau, is raising money for the Parks and Recreation Foundation.
The event is hosted by the foundation and served curbside meals.
The event lasted from 11a.m. to 7p.m.
The event is hosted by the Parks and Recreation Foundation, and they expect to serve around 3,000 people.
Scott Williams is the Recreation Division Manager, and he says that Spaghetti Day is the biggest fundraiser they do every year.
“Our parks and recreation staff and our board members prepare the food, and our board members serve it the day of, it’s a three-day process.”
Williams says that the event generates anywhere between $35,000 to $40,000.
This is the also the 19th annual Spaghetti Day to date.
