St. Louis man facing firearms charge in Scott City
SCOTT CITY, Mo. (KBSI) – A St. Louis man faces a firearms charge in Scott City.
Tyreece Martin faces a charge of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
Scott City police officers were dispatched to a home in Scott City around 8:19 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14 for a report of an armed man refusing to leave.
Officers detained a man and found an AR-15 pistol.
Police say Martin was was on probation for robbery. He told police the gun was his.
Bond for Martin was set at $50,000 cash/surety.
