St. Louis Zoo’s baby elephant makes public debut
ST. LOUIS, Mo., (KBSI) — The St. Louis Zoo’s 5-month-old Asian elephant calf, Jet, will begin making regular appearances in the River’s Edge area.
Jet’s schedule will vary, but visitors may spot him exploring the habitat or catch a glimpse of him from the Emerson Zooline Railroad.
The zoo is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the spring season.
Since his birth, Jet has gained over 300 pounds and now weighs 578 pounds.
