Steele Fire Department to host fire safety class ahead of the holidays

STEELE, Mo. (KBSI) – The Steele Fire Department is hosting a free fire education class.

This Friday November 22 at 6:00 pm the Steele Fire Department will host a quick and informative fire safety session before the holidays.

The Steele Fire Department says people can expect to learn about fire safety and prevention, get tips for protecting your home and family, and hands-on demonstration with fire extinguishers.

This class isn’t just for Steele city residents—it’s open to everyone in the Steele fire district.
The Steele Fire Department says the holidays is the perfect time to go over fire safety.
Each participating household will receive a free kitchen fire extinguisher and at least two smoke detectors as long as supplies last.
