Steele man arrested after another man stabbed

STEELE, Mo. (KBSI) – A Steele man faces charges after police say he stabbed another man with a knife.

Curtis Agee, 44, of Steele was arrested Saturday on charges of assault 1st, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and possession of a controlled substance.

Police say another man from Steele was stabbed on North First Street. He was taken to Great River Medical Center in Blytheville, Arkansas and later airlifted for treatment of stab wounds.

A warrant was issued for Agee with no bond. He is being held in the Pemiscot County Jail.

The Steele Police Department was assisted by deputies from Pemiscot County Sheriff’s  Office and officers from the Caruthersville Police Department.
