Stoddard County Sheriff: No foul play suspected in Bloomfield death

BLOOMFIELD, Mo., (KBSI) — Authorities in Stoddard County have identified a man found dead earlier this week north of Bloomfield.

The Stoddard County Sheriff’s Office said deputies and the county coroner responded about 5:20 p.m. Monday to the area of State Highway AB, where they discovered the body of Michael D. Curry, 46, of Matthews, Missouri.

An autopsy was performed Aug. 21 by Dr. Russell Deidiker. Investigators said no foul play is suspected at this time.

The sheriff’s office thanked the Stoddard County Coroner’s Office and the Missouri State Highway Patrol for their assistance in the investigation.
