Storms cause power outages, uproot trees

(KBSI) – Severe storms blew through the FOX23 viewing area Monday night knocking down trees and causing some power outages.

Ameren Missouri reported outages near Scott City, Oran, Dexter, Sikeston in Missouri and Mounds, Ill.

The National Weather Service Paducah reports quarter size hail in Wayne County, 1 inch hail at Arrowhead Campground in Bollinger County.

Numerous trees were reported down along Interstate 55 southbound at the 86 mile marker.

Trees and powerlines were reported down across Ballard County, Ky. and in Mayfield, Ky.

A roof/side of building was reported damaged in Barlow, Ky. Several trees were reported downed in near Paducah in McCracken County, Ky.

A large tree was uprooted and partially snapped in near Poplar Bluff in Butler County, Mo.

Several trees are down and at least quarter sized hail was reported near Leopold in Bollinger County.

Numerous trees and power lines were reported downed across Alexander County, Ill.

A semi trailer was blown over near Mound in Pulaski County, Ill.
