Storms roll through FOX23 viewing area

(KBSI) – Severe weather rolled through the FOX23 News viewing area Thursday night.
Rob Estes from the McCracken County Emergency Management Agency says several trees and power lines are down in McCracken County. Traffic is being rerouted on Highway 62 at Childress Road due to a large tree in road.
Storm reports from the National Weather Service Paducah:
- 9:15 p.m. – Power lines down on Lightfoot Road. Tree block road on Childress and Blandville in McCracken County, KY
- 8:40 p.m. – tree down on Portland Road in Massac County, IL
- 8 p.m. – tree down on Highway 37 near Cypress in Johnson County, IL
- 7:54 p.m. – trees down around Dongola, IL. Other reports of trees down throughout Union County.
Ameren Illinois reports the number of customer outages as of 10:49 p.m. on August 15.

240 member-consumers without power.
Citizens Electric Corp.: 240

16 member-consumers without power.
