Street shut down after low-hanging wires create danger for drivers

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — A portion of Longview Drive is closed at Highland Church Road due to low-hanging wires, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities said the wires pose a hazard to motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians.

Utility crews are on the way to make repairs.

Officials expect the closure to last about an hour and are advising drivers to avoid the area.
