Structure fire closes Pershing Road southwest of West Frankfort

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ill., (KBSI) — Fire crews are responding to a structure fire on Pershing Road southwest of West Frankfort, authorities said.

Pershing Road is closed at Bencie Lane while emergency personnel work at the scene. No injuries have been reported.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes until the roadway is reopened.
