Superman hometown carnival returning to Metropolis this June

METROPOLIS, Ill., (KBSI) — The Metropolis Chamber of Commerce announced a community carnival will take place June 11-13 in downtown Metropolis.

The carnival will be held on Metropolis Street between Washington Park and the Metropolis Public Library.

Hours for the event are scheduled for 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and noon to 10 p.m. Saturday.
