Cape Girardeau Police Identify Suspect in Sprigg Street Shooting

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – Officers have identified a suspect involved in a shooting incident on Sprigg Street in Cape earlier this week.

Officers identified the subject as Chono Montgomery age 40 of Mason, Tennessee.

Montgomery was formally charged through the Cape Girardeau County Prosecutors Office with Class A felony assault in the first degree, felony armed criminal action X’s 2 and Class B felony assault in the first degree.

Montgomery currently has a no-bond warrant and is considered armed and dangerous.
