Suspicious person complaint results in drug arrest

McCRACKEN, COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – On Thursday, March 16, at approximately 4:03 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the area of Lovelaceville Road and South Gum Springs Road for a male subject walking down Lovelaceville Road.

The caller stated to Paducah dispatch the males was walking close to the road and acting strangely.

Deputies located the male, who has been identified as one Zachary Marlar, who has two active warrants and was found with a small quantity of meth during his arrest.

Marlar was lodged in the McCracken County Jail.

Marlar is 34-years-old and is from McCracken County.

He was arrested and charged with the following: public intoxication of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (meth), one McCracken County bench warrant and one Scott County bench warrant.
