Suspicious vehicle turned arrest in Marion, IL

MARION, IL (KBSI) – Williamson County deputies discovered a suspicious car at a closed self storage facility on West Main Street in Marion on Jun. 17. The suspect claimed he rented one of the units but his key did not match. Deputies discovered the suspect was driving on a suspended drivers license and after a vehicle search, they found illegal controlled substances.

William J. Marks was cited for the following:

  • Possession of methamphetamine
  • Possession of a controlled substance
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Driving on suspended driver’s license
  • No valid driver’s license

Marks is currently being held at Williamson County Jail.
