CHEYENNE, Wyo., (KBSI) – Taco John’s International announced a companywide initiative to provide free meals to those in need following the success of a local franchise’s recent act of generosity.
Earlier this week, one franchise partner began offering a “Community Support Special” — a free meal available to anyone in need, no questions asked and with no purchase required. As the initiative gained attention, Taco John’s and its franchisees across the country decided to expand the effort.
Beginning Thursday, Oct. 31, through Sunday, Nov. 2, all participating Taco John’s locations will offer a free Community Support Special, which includes a Beef or Bean Burrito and junior Potato Olés®. The meals will be available daily from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., free of charge.
In addition, Taco John’s will make a donation to local food banks for every Taco Bravo sold on Nov. 6 as part of the campaign.
“This initiative came to life organically and represents the true spirit of our brand and franchise family,” said Heather Neary, president and CEO of Taco John’s International. “We’re proud to support our communities and provide a helping hand to those who need it most.”
