Task force arrests 3 in Clinton, Ky. meth bust
CLINTON, Ky., (KBSI) — A search warrant executed by the River Counties Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force on March 26 led to the arrest of three individuals on methamphetamine-related charges.
The warrant was served at a residence in the 100 block of North Jefferson Street, following an investigation prompted by citizen complaints.
Task force officers had conducted undercover purchases of methamphetamine from the residence prior to the search warrant.
During the execution of the warrant, officers found methamphetamine, digital scales, and drug paraphernalia.
Michael West and Kateline Smart were arrested at the scene and charged with trafficking in controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
West was also served with an outstanding arrest warrant from Graves County.
A third individual, David Strange, was arrested later that evening and charged with possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
