TBI issues Blue Alert for Memphis man wanted on attempted murder charges

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (KBSI) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is seeking the public’s help in locating a man wanted on multiple felony charges.
Danell Maxwell is the subject of a Tennessee Blue Alert and has been added to the state’s Most Wanted list. He is wanted by the TBI and the Memphis Police Department on charges of attempted first-degree murder, aggravated assault and employment of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.
Authorities said Maxwell should be considered armed and dangerous. He is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
A reward of up to $2,500 is being offered for information leading to his arrest.
