Teenager seriously injured after being struck by vehicle in Paducah

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — A 13-year-old girl was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross Lone Oak Road on Wednesday.

According to the Paducah Police Department, the girl was crossing the road after leaving a nearby convenience store when she was hit by a 2015 Ford passenger car driven by 29-year-old Victoria Dennis of Mayfield.

The girl was taken to a local hospital and later transferred to an out-of-state hospital for further treatment.

The incident occurred at 11:47 a.m. at the intersection of Lone Oak Road and Mohawk Drive.
