Tennessee truck driver injured in Western Kentucky semi crash

GRAVES COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — A Tennessee truck driver was injured Thursday night when his semi overturned on a western Kentucky highway.
Raymond Stacey, 44, of Greenfield, Tennessee, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Mercy Health in Paducah, Kentucky.
According to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office, Stacey was driving east on KY-94 West around 10:50 p.m. when he lost control of the semi while adjusting his seatbelt.
The semi left the roadway, striking a driveway, mailbox and road sign before overturning down an embankment.
Stacey escaped the wreckage with the help of a passerby and was transported to the hospital by EMS.
The highway was closed for an extended period to retrieve the semi and clean up debris. The semi was loaded with grain at the time of the accident.
Deputy Austin Caldwell investigated the collision, assisted by Sergeant Garret Clark, KSP Trooper Matthew Flemming, the Cuba Fire Department and Mayfield/Graves County EMS.
